About Me

I am a compassionate, trauma-focused Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist with over 17 years of clinical experience supporting adolescents and adults through trauma, anxiety, low self-esteem, grief and loss, brain injuries, medical complexities, relationship challenges, and significant life transitions. I work with individuals who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or uncertain about how to move forward, helping clients build greater emotional balance, resilience, and self-understanding.

I provide a supportive, non-judgmental, and collaborative space where clients can safely explore difficult emotions and experiences, strengthen coping skills, and regain a sense of stability, confidence, and connection. My approach is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and respect, and I believe therapy should feel like a safe and honest conversation rather than something intimidating or overwhelming.

Using a client centered and flexible approach, I tailor therapy to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual. I draw from a variety of evidence-based methods, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Attachment Theory and Polyvagal Theory-informed approaches. Together, we work to better understand patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, increase emotional awareness, and create meaningful, sustainable change.

Above all, I am deeply committed to helping clients feel heard, understood, and empowered as they move toward healing, growth, and a stronger sense of self.
